Hi, I'm Martyna - the heart and mind behind Smooth Bookkeeping Solutions.
I started this business because I believe bookkeeping is about so much more than numbers. Behind every set of books is a business owner with goals, challenges, and a vision for what they're building. I love being part of that journey by helping my clients stay organized, understand their finances, and feel confident about where their business is headed. I wanted to create the kind of bookkeeping experience I would want - one built on trust, communication, genuine relationships, but also strongly backed by expertise.
Before launching Smooth Bookkeeping Solutions, I worked in corporate accounting and payroll, where I gained hands-on experience across a wide range of accounting functions while supporting a multi-state company. I also earned my Master's degree in Accounting (MSA), became a certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, and most recently, an Enrolled Agent (EA).
All of that allows me to provide my clients with both technical expertise and practical, real-world solutions. But at the end of the day, my greatest satisfaction comes from using that knowledge to make bookkeeping feel less overwhelming and help business owners feel supported every step of the way.
I've always been someone who enjoys bringing order to chaos. I love organizing information, improving processes, and finding better ways to do things. Bookkeeping allows me to combine that passion with helping small business owners succeed.
When I'm not working with clients, you'll usually find me planning my next trip, getting lost in a good book, or taking long walks with my husband and our dog. I believe life is all about finding balance, and I want to help my clients do the same by taking bookkeeping off their plate
